On the path to better living with THRIVE
To take part in THRIVE you must be:
aged 18 or older
an Australian resident
able to read and understand English
able to consent to take part
If you meet these criteria and want to improve your health and well-being, we want to hear from you!
We are now in the process of developing the digital health platform together with healthcare professionals and members of the community in rural and regional Victoria.
We would welcome your input by completing a short survey.
You will be asked to complete a population survey that asks about your background, health, and lifestyle. By completing the survey, you have the chance to win one of 24 visa gift cards, each worth $100.
To give you a full understanding of what participation in the population study involves, we have prepared the following document: PLIS 2023_173. Please read over the material and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
If you think would like to participate, please click on the JOIN THRIVE link below.
You may be invited to undertake a clinical assessment with a trained professional. You will be asked questions about your health and have physical measurements taken such as blood pressure, height, and weight. You will then be offered tests to investigate your risk of developing chronic disease. If the tests indicate you have a chronic disease, we will refer you for treatment.
If the tests indicate you have a chronic disease, you can still participate in THRIVE as this program can be delivered alongside other healthcare you may receive.
If you would like to work on behaviour to improve your health and/or reduce your risk of chronic disease, we would welcome you to join our intervention in which you will choose one or more health-related behaviours you wish to target to improve your health. We will offer you personalised coaching over 12 months and the use of a new digital health platform to help you along the way.
If you have already been diagnosed with a chronic disease, we will work alongside your current treatment plan.
You will not be expected to travel outside of your area or change healthcare providers.
